Brentwood, New York—Fred
Schukal announced today that Sleepy Hollow
Chimney Supply, td., purchased Ace Chimney
Brush Company on Wednesday July 15, 1998. This
is Sleepy Hollow’s second acquisition since
acquiring Bellfires. Ace Chimney Brush Company was
started by Mr. Louis Levy in 1937. Mr. Levy passed
away in 1995 and the company continued to be run by
his wife. Ray Colucci and Fred Schukal first began
to do business with the Levy’s at Ace Brush in 1981.
Ace Brush manufactured several proprietary brushes
for Sleepy Hollow and helped Sleepy Hollow supply
some of the many valuable products Sleepy Hollow has
made available to the chimney trade. Sleepy Hollow
recently learned of the availability of Ace Chimney
Brush and realizing the compatibility and
possibilities of adding Ace Brush to the mix at
Sleepy Hollow, Mr. Schukal purchased the company.
This will only add to the excellent line up of
brushes Sleepy Hollow makes available from Europe,
Canada, and the United States. |
